Down With It!

Most people have Monday blues. But then, catch me being the same as “most people”. Nope! I have Wednesday blues! Worst day of the week – in my opinion. Double Math, followed by block Physics, followed by two periods of Chemistry and an hour and half of Biology after lunch! By the end of the day, our class personifies saturation!

Not that any other day of the week is any better, but on Wednesdays, we are bugged after Monday and Tuesday, and have that horrible feeling that the weekend is still over 2 days away!

I vote that we do away with Wednesdays! Or even better, make it a holiday! Then, a holiday would never be more that 2 days away!

They say that teenagers start the week sleepy, are dead tired on Wednesdays, and alive and happy by Friday. Adults, in contrast, are fresh on Mondays, dead tired on Wednesdays and completely beat on Friday. At least on Wednesdays, we are on the same page!

So, generations alike…chant:

DOWN WITH WEDNESDAYS!

    Hi,
U atleast have 2 days of the week off, from the look of it. Enjoy those two days to the core !
How was your dance exam, by the way? Hope it went well.

    Hey Ranjana!
Yea...I have Saturdays off only once in a while! Today being one of those times! =D

My dance exam still hasn't happened! Turns out they cant find an external examiner! Since Bijayini Didi knows my mom as an Odissi dancer, she wanted my mom to be examiner...and when I said "She can't be MY examiner!!" she finally figured that we are related! lol The ONE place in Bangalore where I'm not known as Ms. Das's daughter - Nrityagram!

Since Wednesday isn't likely to fall off the calendar any time soon, here's a "work-around":

Think of WEDNESDAY AS YOUR WEEKEND! Then:

Sunday is great, 'cause you don't have to go to school.

Monday can't be that bad: yesterday you did all the fun things.

Tuesday? Oh, just one more day for the weekend.

    Wednesday: Yipee! Weekend.

Thursday: Hey, you just got back from your weekend!

Friday: One day to go to Saturday.

Saturday: Holiday, half-day, whatever. But mostly fun!

Sunday: Back to that day of bliss!

See, it's just how you look at it!

    Have fun!!

I hate Wednesdays. Triple (or treble?) Physics (subject = ♥, teacher = meh), double Math, where she's doing Conic Sections and driving me insane (and teacher = incompetent, too), no English, double Bio (you know my opinion of this subject).

    Die, Wednesday, die.

(Random fact: Wednesday = Woden's day = Odin, guy who gave an eye to gain knowledge.

I think we would all give an eye not to be gaining knowledge right now...)

    Hi Meghna!!!

Well, I hope Bijayini didi has found an external examiner for you and finished with the exam !!!!

College is getting increasingly hectic and ruthless for me, what with assignments piling up every day. Saturday nights and Sundays are BLISS, PURE BLISS, though I won't mind a dance class on these days, considering thats the only thing which keeps me sane through the week :)

Anyway, keep posting and keep smiling, for life is a whirlwind that has to go on, and is that silly kiddy saying which is so wise after all - Lick your icecream before it melts !!!!
